Montrose Makers was born
It all started when my sister gave birth to my niece. I spent hours scouring the high street, trying to find the perfect finishing touch for her nursery—something cute, fun, and practical that wouldn’t add to the mess.
I was shocked at the lack of affordable, unique options. Why was it so hard to find something within budget that didn’t feel generic?
That’s when the idea for Montrose Makers was born.
Named after my first house
Named after the first house my sister and I bought together after university, Montrose Makers is all about filling kids’ rooms with joy and personality—without breaking the bank or adding to the clutter.
With 15+ years of experience working in marketing for large corporates in London, I’ve used that knowledge to build and grow Montrose Makers over the past three years.
And I love that our family can share this journey, helping other families create beautiful, personalised spaces for their little ones.
A Family-Run Business
Montrose Makers is more than just a business; it’s a family affair. My husband is the IT guru behind the scenes, handling all things tech-related. My dad is in charge of making sure your orders are picked up and delivered on time, while my mum lends her expert touch to hand-finishing and quality control. And of course, my son, my sister, and my niece are my ultimate testers, giving their playful stamp of approval to new products.

While I design some pieces myself, I also collaborate with talented designers to bring fresh, creative ideas to life.
Every single piece in our collection is made by me, using laser machines, and hand-finished with care. So that each item is crafted to the highest standards, with love and attention to detail.
I know how important it is to find something that feels just right for your child’s room—because I’ve been in your shoes, searching for unique, affordable décor that brings both joy and practicality to a space.
